Addicted to it recently. When I see it now, I always think of the word "ancestor"

There are too much stekch I wanna share with you.

This one I was inspire by the Dynasty Warrior-CHOW YU.

Here is some sketch with religious meaning, just draw by habbit

Here are some sketch during lesson. Some of them are things that I saw. While some are just for fun.

In fact, I do have more sketch but I cannot put them all here.

I like sketching everywhere just like the others would bring along their camera to shoot down every moment.

And I choose drawing to mark down memorable moment.

THAT IS ME.

I like sketching. sketch what I seen and what I think.

I like this relaxing feeling when I draw without pressure.

Although this may not be beautiful or great, I like it

In fact, resently I am finding some easier way to sketch a people. Using some simple shape to sketch a person is one of the way I am trying .

Leifeng

This lsson, there is one thing that attact me so much-the ideal of Chinese people-Lei feng.

After seaching wikipedia, I found out that Leifung died on 1962, that year, he was 22.

There were many rumors about his death, some claimed that he died because he was hit by a big stick.

While some claimed that he is died from nuclear leakage (as 1964, China invited the 1st nuclear bomb, and Lei is the one who transport the nuclear)

No matter how, we could not find the truth nowadays.

By the way, I do believe that Leifung is one of the Public Relation policy that the Chinese government had used to persuaded people to accordingly.

It is quite interest to investigate in Lei.
However, we have got limit resouces and, hope that I could speak more on this in the future.

I have missed the last lesson as I feel very sick when I wake up.


I hate mid-term!


i have miss thmovie lesson which I have longed.


By the way, I find one interesting picture on the internet today.

A person who wanna make some color on his house as being arrested.

It seems that we need to look like the others if we want to settle in this society - no matter what "the others" are-just klike the picture, the others are "grey and dead".

This is the ture in our society, in order to get peer recognization, teenagers take drug, smoke...

Where are the "personal style"?

Great Lesson

Lots of pictures!
Analyzing different types of picture is fun.
But I am worrying about weather I could do this in my examination.

Film watching is soooo great!
It's awesome for the people to make such movie without any computer.
espicially for the movie of horse racing.
I could still feel exciting although the movie was made 50 years ago.

Another thing that catch my attention is the film that 5 people go to the moon.
I forget its name( Prof.williams, could you tell me the name of that movie clips?)
but the creativity of people is amazing.
a moon with a face, the spaceship stuck into the moon's eye...
I wanna see that again and again!

I have to study my mid-term. It's a tough work.
I have to work harder.
to break my limit!

A long way to go

Sleepy morning again. But I still go to the class as I want to.
today is about the font style.
In fact, I do not have much knowledge about the font style. But after this lesson, I do know more about that.
However, I cannot get quite well about the later part of this lesson.
Perhaps this is due to my poor langauge I think.
No matter how, The lesson is quite useful.
and I like to see the old poster which is totally by hand.
It's amazing!

Have to continue my work on the photo lexicon. soooooo busy!

A sleepy morning

What a sleepy morning after the FLOOR DECORATION!
But I persist in attending this lesson since I know this would be interesting.
And, It is.

Door design, lift design, word of sign...
Those are the things that we could always see in our dairy life.
And we could always "trick" by those door.
But we would never find out the reason WHY a door can "trick" us like that.

Not only door, but also other product, should be user-friendly.
This is he most important part in design.
And also, the most difficult part.

Begin to write my photo Lexican.
Don't wanna mass it up by my bad handwriting.
So, COMPUTER please!

Bossini Logo

Back to hall and started to surf at Tommy Li and Alan Chan's web site.

I find out that many of the famous branding designs are done this these two guys.

One of the Icon that I find out is interesting, is the Bossini icon, designed by Alan Chan.

This is the logo from his web site.

There is a green "B" on it, with the technique of reification.

apart from the "B", it looks like a lamp, which perhaps representing something in daily life.

Moreover, for me, the whole icon looks like a alien with a helmet, representing something special?

No matter what it is representing. Today, I do have the chance to look deeply into some icon that I can always see in the street.

It's a great experience and I feel GOOD in doing so!

The third week

Amazing morning.
Study some of the theory about digital graphic communication.
In fact, we do know some of the theory by our common sense.
But we do not know what is the exactly wording representing that concept.
This lesson is great that I learn more about what we use (or see) in our dairy life about graphic.

There is one thing I want to mention- The comparison between the two designers' work.
the Maxims' icon, the One2free icon, e.t.c.
In fact, I have never noticed that the Maxims' icon is made by heart.
In my view, it is just an icon with something brusting out.
Perhaps it is due to the fact that this icon is too common in Hong Kong and we seldom spend time on it.

This do remind me one thing- people always miss the thing that they think that they are familiar with.
Not just icon that is common, but also our families, friends, opportunities...

There is one thing we need to bear in mind: treasure the thing that we already have and do spend time with them.

My first entry

I begin to foret things easily.
I forget the promise to the others.
I forget the dating with the others.
I forget what should I do.
Oh my god!

every time when I attend the DGC class.
I feel excited since it seems that my relationship with graphic become closer.
After taking BBA at university. I seldom have oppotunity to work with graphics/ design e.t.c.
Only when I attend the DGC class.
I could feel that I am learn the things that I really like.

I need to work hard on that.

it is a work from my previous portfolio.

And I have done some modification recently in order to clearify the black and white colour.

In fact, this picture do have another two with the same series.

representing a evolution of the character.

However, since it is a work when I was F.5. It is not quite mature when I see them now.

by the way, I do wanna know more about DGC in this year in order to boarden my horizon!
